The brief was clear that, in a competitive and ever-growing industry, CMS needed to stand out against some of the bigger mailing houses. After careful market research, paying particular attention to CMS’ competitors, we elected to adopt a more colourful, geometric approach to the company’s brand image and logo design.
The resulting logo directly reflected the friendly and approachable vibe CMS were hoping to communicate. The coloured blocks represent the fold of an envelope, doubling up as directional arrows to represent delivery. The logo was created to negate the more dated look of traditional mailing houses, lending CMS modern aesthetic with flashes of colour as opposed to the more muted
Designed for use across both digital and printed media, the logo features prominently on the CMS website as well as across the company’s branded materials such as letterheads and business cards. The final logo has been instrumental in distinguishing CMS from similar brands.
