We created a robust series of websites designed to promote stronger relationships between Koei Tecmo and the fans of its games. We achieved this by providing a range of interactive services across Koei Tecmo’s websites. This included a user profile system which enables users to log gaming information against their profiles with the purpose of comparing and contrasting scores and achievements with friends.
By developing individual game feedback surveys we were able to open a line of communication directly from consumer to brand. This has enabled Koei Tecmo to implement changes, bug fixes, and updates as a direct response to user feedback. In turn, this helped to foster a sense of trust and value between consumer and brand.
Another avenue for generating user feedback and building the Koei Tecmo community was the development of the Koei Tecmo forums. The bulletin board style forums enable the Koei Tecmo community to interact with each other and keep up to date with all the latest news, information, and events.
When the publisher re-branded from Tecmo Koei to Koei Tecmo, we were asked to relocate its web presence to new URLs and create a simple new website, focusing on news and its games catalogue, which would be accessible across all mobile, tablet and desktop devices.
