Jelly provides daily social media management for Konami UK, creating and curating a range of content for the brand whilst engaging with fans across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. To date, Jelly has built Konami’s social media following into a combined audience of well over 100,000 followers.
In order to build the client’s UK presence we have supported the brand with a number of regional campaigns and activations over the years. Audience engagement is at the forefront of our social media strategy and all of our content is created with that in mind. Throughout the launch of Konami’s Super Bomberman R, Jelly’s in-house design team created a number of interactive assets to appeal to Konami’s target audience. This included “tag yourself” and “pause the GIF” style images where fans were encouraged to share results in the comments. We have also created assets for Konami partner brands to use on their social media channels, most notably for PES 2018 partner clubs such as F.C. Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund, exposing the brand to their hundreds of thousands of followers too.
Competition style content is ran regularly across all channels as a way of increasing brand exposure and supplementing individual campaigns. In addition, Jelly makes an effort to share fan created content such as art, gameplay videos, and cosplay. This works to both support the community and provide unique content for fans to interact with. Sharing user created content has been especially useful in building influencer relationships for the brand. At present Jelly regularly mobilises UK based influencers to create content for Konami UK which is then shared on both the influencer and Konami UK’s social media channels, reaching a much wider audience.
Jelly also created content for the official Konami blog throughout the launch of titles such as Castlevania Mirror of Fate, Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes, and Metal Gear Solid V the Phantom Pain. This served as additional promotional marketing for the game as was cross-promoted on social media channels.
