The London Tea Company recently underwent a major re-brand for its range of specialist teas. The company tasked us with supporting the re-brand by creating a responsive eCommerce website that highlighted the ethical story of its teas and news of its expanding range of products.
The site boasts a clean layout, taking advantage of the bright and colourful London Tea brand. Jelly’s design team played off of the company’s bold personality utilising strong typefaces and an image heavy layout which directs the user’s focus to the products on sale. Created with eCommerce in mind, the site’s primary purpose is to direct the user to the online store. This was achieved by the implementation of “Shop Now” buttons and calls to action within the copy on the homepage, encouraging users to try and taste the brand’s various teas.
Communicating the London Tea Company’s personality has been an integral part of fostering relationships between the brand and consumer. In order to support this strategy we integrated colourful live social media feed directly on the homepage. The site works responsively across all platforms, retaining its cheerful design on across smartphones, tablets and desktop computers alike.
