Whilst VR technology has existed within the realm of gaming since the 1990s, in more recent years it has come to represent a significant niche with a large area for potential growth that has caught the imagination of games companies and fans alike. As a result, VR gaming is an exciting market to explore and work on, and Jelly got that very opportunity when video game publisher Coatsink approached us to promote the Oculus Quest release of its VR shooter title, Onward. This campaign saw us recruit four high-profile VR streamers to produce content around the launch of the game:
The combined reach of these streamers helped to place the game in front of millions of players with an established interest in VR or FPS titles to help build growth.
One of the most complex factors of this project was selecting the best streamers to aid in its promotion, the right candidates needed to have a large reach within the required demographics in order to push the title to as many users as possible.
