Perp & ITV requested a simple and functional website, which would be accessible to users of all ages, in order to promote its latest title: The Voice Video Game. We developed The Voice Video Game’s homepage to be the central hub for all game information including news, trailers, social links, and newsletter sign-ups.
By enabling users to access everything on this one page we removed any instances of unnecessary navigation. Jelly developers decided upon this after conducting various A/B tests in order to gauge whether users spent more time on a website with multiple pages or one with one central information source. User testing revealed that a website with an information dense homepage held attention for much longer than one which prompted users to visit multiple pages in order to access information.
In order to generate user interest and drive sales, our development team integrated a YouTube plugin which would allow the game’s launch trailer to be viewed directly on site. This plugin supports trailer playback across a range of devices, exposing users to gameplay mechanics and encouraging pre-orders.
